I hear so many people shaming others for voting this way or standing for that. I personally  let people vote how they want and in peace without commitment or pressure. At best, I may explain a cause or issue, but I don’t blame, ridicule or hassle anyone for how they vote. I just educate myself for my vote.

I’ve observed and realize NOT everyone is knowledgeable of how our government is run, the branches of government, what the politicians can and cannot do; and not everyone is mentally equipped to understand or learn it all. And I have found, especially during COVID, that some people are born followers, many women vote how their man votes and many vote how their family has always voted, as if it’s some token of legacy or… Not considering times change and so do these government parties. An example is, the Republicans who ended slavery are not the same Republican party of today or certain periods after slavery. Many do not realize that. I realize, however that not many of us US citizens today are individuals who can think for themselves, but many soon find out how wrongful their decision was. That train is never late, even when they wear their regret in silence.

Two other points that just are what they are:

¹Most, including myself, don’t want anyone telling me how to vote (and if they don’t like me because of it, 🤷🏽‍♀️. Everyone seems to be quite sick of people telling them what to do (mask, no mask, COVID shot, don’t take the shot; vote red, vote blue). People tell others how to think and feel, and write others off, even when they agree on somethings, but not others.

²Many that I’ve met who voted Red are pissed at the laws changing where kids cannot be kids, and they were being influenced and their gender was being washed away (women also). And at the point of decision, they decided to protect the youth at whatever cost, and I’m almost certain they never dreamed it was at the risk of war.

That’s not the way I went with my vote, but it’s always the core of their argument, well, that and they say Dems want to up the tax on corporations and business owners to pay for those food stamps, Medicaid and welfare checks and many business owners were already Red because of taxes (they’re already at 48% tax bracket & Dems want more). Dems were not keeping up with the fact that MANY took their COVID checks and invested or started a business or both, so this higher tax issue IS a thing for MANY.

Even regular employees don’t want tax hikes because it means the company they work for will lay off or outsource to balance it out and not take the tax hit. And from what I see on the internet, now they are mad at Dems for making them switch up and vote Red because they were protecting the youth from certain laws changing where they saw all the gender stuff confusing their kids or the youth, and higher taxes hurt business profit, and yes, there’s a few other things but these being the core reasons they went Red, and many never wanted to vote Red.

Remember how they voted for Obama in droves, but in 2024, they made a different choice (after lies about student loan debt being wiped, then $10k removed, and other things) and what wasn’t shown on the news is how many said Dems/Blue just were not listening or heeding their needs. Both parties should forget what the other side said/did and LISTEN TO THE PEOPLE (Jobs, opportunity, help with student loans, grants, low loan rates, wages that afford them to live…), back on topic.

As I said, I made a different choice, but that’s the choice they made, and why, and many, many regret it with what’s all in the news and now their children and family going off to war, but it can happen again if our government does not LISTEN. That still does not mean it’s OK to disrespect or hate someone for their choices.

I think we have to learn to live and let live. Too much blame and shaming people who are just trying to navigate life and everything going on. And some folks are easily confused, so imagine with everything we are facing, them trying to figure things out.

This should be a teachable moment for Dems/Blue & Rep/Red, tax payers want cushions with their tax dollars for when they fall, but more than anything, they want OPPORTUNITY, not war or you sitting there watching unlawful things happen.

Look on the Internet and you’ll see Voters are calling to Clean house and start a new in all 3 branches of government. If the branches have been compromised, have more gang mentality and dedication than duty, the people may very well be right to want to start anew.
