It was a special moment for our family—and for music history—as my uncle, legendary singer and Funk Master George Clinton, received the Key to the City of Newark, New Jersey. The honor celebrates a groundbreaking career that helped define funk music, and influence generations of artists through his unmistakable sound, inside stories, creativity, and style.
